I am always looking for fun stocking stuffers for my kids for Christmas and finding their stocking stuffers is more fun for me than finding their main gifts. Because of my love for stocking stuffers, we decided to compile a list of travel-friendly stocking stuffers that are perfect for anyone on your list who loves to travel and road trip like we do. Hope you find this helpful!
Most of the items listed are items we have tried and enjoyed. Some are just things I would like to try or would have purchased if my kids were still little.

In no particular order, here are our picks for the Best Travel Stocking Stuffers for anyone on your Christmas list
We always enjoy Mad Libs and this one is made specifically for a Christmas stocking stuffer.
My kids LOVED these Water Wow books when they were younger and they make great travel toys.
These 100 PICS games look fun and are highly-rated. I think my daughter would like the optical illusions one and my son the riddles or jokes.
These Magic Ink books were also popular with my kids when they were little and they travel well.
Mini Arcade games are always a hit in this house, some of our favorites are games that Ross and I loved as kids (any other Oregon Trail or Skee-Ball fans out there?)
I have recommended this before but it is worth mentioning it again as we still enjoy playing this travel scavenger hunt game on our road trips.
Along the same lines as travel scavenger hunt, this pack of car games will get everyone in the car involved and having fun.
Travel board games are always a good choice if you enjoy board games like we do, but there are small pieces in some of them that are easy to lose. That being said, if you are up for trying it, Trouble is still one of our favorite travel games even now that our kids are a bit older.
We have not personally tried this, but I do typically like Melissa & Doug products and this looks like something my son would have loved when he was younger.
Another thing we always bring with us on our trips…National Parks trivia cards, of course!
This book has a variety of activities in it and is sure to keep any kid busy for a long car ride. If you’re looking for your child to document their trips, this looks like another cute option.
A pair of binoculars would make a great stocking stuffer for use when driving through National Parks and hoping to spot some wildlife.
My son is a fan of all things tiny and has a lot of these World’s Smallest items, this Etch-a-Sketch actually works and doesn’t have any tiny pieces to lose so it would be great for travel.
A water filter bottle is another great option for anyone on your list whether they fly or camp.
We were recently traveling by plane and I was glad I had my water filter bottle with since the filters on all of the water bottle refilling stations at the airport needed to be replaced (red light on all the ones I saw!).
Have a new little one in your family? Introduce them to our amazing National Parks early with this cute board book.
If you haven’t started one already, a National Park Passport book would make a great stocking stuffer for any kid or adult in your life (though this is much more affordable at the parks).
Have a love for fun socks? These would make a perfect stocking stuffer for the National Park lover in your life.
These scrunch maps are great because you don’t have to worry about folding them up correctly or tearing them. You can find them for lots of different areas, including these well-made cloth maps for the Boundary Waters (one of our favorite areas in MN).
This one is not cheap, but is super handy for you road trippers. This jump starter box is nice and small and you’ll be glad you have it when you need it!
Last, but not least, if you tend to get more expensive stocking stuffers, we HIGHLY recommend Kindle Paperwhites.
We load these up with library books before all our trips so we don’t have to bring a bunch of books along.
